COVID-19 continues to impact how we live our lives, but the change was drastic and scary in the spring of 2020. In the heart of the pandemic, we were forced to forego a lot of what was second nature. During uncertain times, the words of Mary Oliver demand that we answer the question:

Poetry comforts, inspires, and heals. Poetry is a catalyst for change. Poets need a space to share their art, and poetry lovers need a space to receive the poet’s art. Born out the pandemic, the Wild & Precious Life Series (WPLS) is a Zoom-based poetry reading series that launched on 4/1/20 to be that space.
